Story

Our organization has long been a fixture of the Richmond, VA, metro, offering commercial clients throughout the region outstanding electrical contracting services. Originally named the Bagby Elevator and Electric company, we first came to the area to work on the Richmond’s Federal Reserve Bank, securing a high-rise office downtown in what is now known as the SunTrust Headquarters building. 

When David L. Tribble, Sr. and John Woodfin purchased the Richmond branch of the company, they renamed it the Bagby Electric Company of Virginia. Inc., a name we wear with pride today. David Tribble, Jr. and Corry Tribble eventually purchased the company from David L. Tribble, Sr. after his retirement.

As an EMCOR company, we combine our local expertise with the financial strength, resources, and capabilities of nationwide organization. 

Since our founding, we’ve grown to become one of the largest and most respected electrical contractors in Richmond.
